Eligibility Criteria to Check Before Applying to Google AdSense

Intro:

Google AdSense is a program run by Google through which site publishers can add ads to their blog, or site. These ads are directed, arranged, and kept up by Google. Google Adsense pays their publishers every month, normally they would pay at the end of any month. Google AdSense doesn't pay their publishers early. The payments would be from the publishers, to google, and then to their publishers. Before Signing up for Google Adsense there are some few requirements you must meet. Here are some few eligibility criteria to check before applying to google adSense.

Eligibility Criteria to Check Before Applying to Google AdSense

1) Your Content Must Comply With The AdSense Program Policies

Before signing up make sure that you're site, and it's content comply with the Google AdSense Program Policies. Google AdSense has a lot of rules on the kind of content that can be on a site they monetize. For example they do not allow sites with adult content, shocking content, threats, excessive profanity, hacking content, malware, drug content, weapon sales, and more to be monetized.

You have to at least have control over the content on your site. If you publish content that isn’t yours, you’ll be violating one of the Google terms of service and possibly of copyright violating.

4) Your Site Must Have Unique and Interesting Content

For example, if your site is a blog then all the content must be unique. That mean's all the content must be written by you, unless you have permission to take someone content, you can use writers to write you an article. Google AdSense likes interesting sites, so try to have interesting content. If you have interesting content then people will want to read your article which would make them a new visitor to your site, the more visits the better.

5) Your Website Must Have Clear Navigation

Navigation plays an important role in your visitors visit, if your site doesn't have clear navigation then your visitors won't stay. You need to have good navigation so your visitors can know their way around. Google has a team that will view your site, hence they will need to know how to navigate their way around your site. So if the team can't navigate their way around you won't be accepted.

6) You Must Not Circulate Fake Traffic

This is a very important, perhaps one of the biggest Google AdSense Policies out there. As Google Say:

Clicks on Google ads must result from genuine user interest. Any method that artificially generates clicks or impressions on your Google ads is strictly prohibited. These prohibited methods include, but are not limited to, repeated manual clicks or impressions, automated click and impression generating tools and the use of robots or deceptive software. Please note that clicking your own ads for any reason is prohibited.

8) You Must Use a Supported Language
Unfortunately Google AdSense doesn't support every language in the world, because they want to make sure they’re displaying ads that are readable to the people viewing the ads.

The supported languages as the time of this writing are:

Arabic, Bengali, Bulgarian, Catalan, Chinese (Both simplified and traditional), Croatian, Czech, Danish, Dutch, English, Estonian, Filipino, Finnish, French, German, Greek, Hebrew, Hindi, Hungarian, Indonesian, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Latvian, Lithuanian, Malay, Marathi, Norwegian, Polish, Portuguese, Romanian, Russian, Serbian, Slovak, Slovenian, Spanish (both traditional and Latin American), Swedish, Tamil, Telugu, Thai, Turkish, Ukrainian, Urdu, and Vietnamese.

9) You Should Have Technical Pages
Google AdSense doesn’t really say this anywhere, but a page is much more likely to be rejected from the program if it doesn’t have technical pages. For example some technical pages are:

Privacy Policy, Terms of Use, Terms and Conditions, Contact Us, About Us, and Many More...

 10) Your Site Should Be At Least Six Months Old

Yet again Google AdSense doesn’t really say this anywhere, but it will affect your application when Google's team review's your site.

11) You Must Have At least 30 Articles

Yet again Google AdSense doesn’t really say this anywhere, but it will affect your application when Google's team review's your site. And it's better, because then your visitor has something to engage with.
